before the stock market wiped me out I had thoughts of retiring in Thailand (or Korea(I had money),Panama,Costa Rico,Spain or Tuscany(my fav) and so had done quite a lot of research on Thailand..
Making money for a farang is, according to all that i have perused is next to impossible.
But then, someone with your personal charm and warmth might have a better chance than most…

I’ve heard the same thing-farang don’t make money unless they have a reliable Thai partner-and there are big restrictions on farang owning property.
Alas, I can’t squander the cash right now-but it sure is nice to dream…..
