It’s funny, my dad taught my brother and me to play golf at Redstone Arsenal. I think he might have played two more times after we left. For over twenty years he had a picture on the wall in his various offices (army and post army) of him swinging a club with a caption below that asked, “what is this man doing”, which was answered by 3 suggestions, the topmost of which I recall was, “trying to kill a snake”.

It was a glorious day. I got paired up with some retiree’s and we had a nice round walking. These guys could really hit the ball though. I was jealous.
I arranged the day so I could go into work early and leave early-and it worked out just right. The thing about the Arsenal is that when it gets hot-it gets really hot. But today they had a nice breeze the whole way.
