John McCain has it right, the President should veto the Omibus Spending bill for FY-09.
Obama needs to show both of these folks who is boss-and the current year budget bill gives him a great opportunity.
Think about it. He vetoes the bill-there is no way the House or the Senate could sustain an override. He’d have a chance to show he is serious about earmarks-and also for making the Congress rise to his tune. That “first veto”-the thing that bedeviled his predecessor ( It took him way to long to use it) would be out of the way.
He’s got to take on that worthless whore Pelosi sometime. Why not do it now when he’s got strength on his side?
Veto the bill.
