Dealing with the thug criminal that has caused so much trouble for so many.
The USS Kitty Hawk returned home yesterday from a busy at sea period. At the exchange and mini-mart they found:
NO BEER!
All because of this guy:
Just have MWR bring up a bag of baseball bats to the quarterdeck. Handcuff this guy to the end of the brow and put up a big sign that says, “Because of this asshole-you can’t drink any beer this weekend. Take a bat and express yourself!”
Problem solved.
Except for the clean up of his badly beaten body-he should count himself lucky he is jail. There are more than a few people that would gladly perform the honors I suspect.
Seriously though,the case highlights a real problem-the percentage of real criminals, very small to be sure-but present nonetheless-who get through the recruiting process. I’m not talking about troubled teens. I’m talking about real, bonafide , gang types, who have no business in uniform, much less on a 1billion dollar cruiser. I’ll bet if you pull the string, this guy had a couple of fights, incidents, big problems long before he went UA I am sure.
The numbers are small percentage wise, but the problems they cause are huge. It merits a rutheless effort to root out the gang culture-even if it means the sales of chains, baggy pants, and Rap CD’s drops.
And that won’t be such a bad thing if you ask me…………….

Seems this loser has been hearing voices, so his legal team is going to try to get the charges reduced.
I hope the Japanese judge tells his lawyers to sit down and STFU. Then put the little bastard away for the rest of his life.
On the up side, he’s going to learn to speak Japanese like a native!

RMKS/1. The Navy in it’s wisdom has a knee jerk reaction now that “it” no longer allows the sailors to be “disciplined” by their peers. Pound the guy that performs the deed, not everybody else. Or, use the pounding of everybody else as a motivating function to “fix” the bad guy.
2. As for our gang culture, it amazed me when I travel around the world the prevalence of that crap. That is what the rest of the world see of Blacks in America. Then, the German SWAT team gets up for the job by saying “act like you are going into Harlem,” and the Black “leaders” get all upset, w/o looking at where this is started. You reep what you sow. The thug mentality and environment is pushed by money grubbers that are doing a disservice to their country, their race and their collective image internationally. Don’t get upset if you get treated like a POS when you act like a POS. Combs, Simmons, et al have made a killing on this, yet will preach about the politics of being Black in America, and how they are treated as second class citizens and are not given the same educational opportunities. B10w me putz!!
3. As for recruiting, we could do a better job. But, hey, diversity buys you the criminal/gang element too. They are a part of America. You want the mil to look like the US at large? Concerned with skin color and gender quotas? Afraid to address problems honestly? You got it, sir. I am sure this will not have any strategic repercussions, sir. Happy talk works wonders.//
