Having Flight attendants that is?
Back in Virginia on a business trip. Flew up on US Airways. Who has decided they can insult my intelligence by charging for all drinks. ( even sodas). As a result no drink cart came down the aisle -I’m not even sure here was a hag Flight attendant on the plane.
The FA Union finally has its dream!
Seems to me if they are going to charge for drinks anyway, reclassify the position as an entertainer, so as to be able to hire based on gender, looks and cup size. Then at least there would be an incentive to buy drinks on the plane.
Use the golf course drink girl theory-namely that the best drink cart folks are women who are cute -and can , for that brief moment your eyes cross- convince you that she wants you while she sells you your beer. Has to be a better idea than what they have now. Plus hiring on that plan might actually improve revenue.
Don’t charge for drinks on the plane-it insults our intelligence.
One American airline is about to start charging for pillows and blankets.
I just want them to hire a pilot that knows how to take off , land and get me there on time.
The rule is one FA per 50 seats whether occupied or not.
As an FYI, I heard an interview on NPR with the USAIR FA union rep. They are not happy with the rule.

Just when I think I could try and think you could not reallybe not such a foul guy, you do this again. Sheesh. My husband says please do not bother with this blog. He is so right. You take pride in such inflamatory posts.
As the sis in law of a flight attendant, I pray she never has to come into contact with you. On that note, she is quite good looking and would never think to look twice at a you. Besides being well educated and professional, she also knows that it is not the FA or their unions that are doing this. They are as unhappy as the travelers. Thankfully, most are not as spoiled and cantankerous as you seem to be. This affects them and their work load as well as your overly self indulgent skinny backside.
Hags , the land of fat women…..I hear that a well landed punch from a real American woman could take a person like you out. For some reason, that thought just tickles my funny bone immensely.
I have finally seen the light and heard my husband’s requests. Your angry blog is now history at our home. Yes, you could care less, we know that. Just another thing that makes my husband cringe. But waiting on that glimmer of decency is tiring and there is so much beauty in this world that needs our attention. Beauties like my fantastic Chinese daughter who is proud of her history and is being raised to be a strong and well educated American woman by her Father and me.
As he often tells her, men like *you* are, unfortunantly, out there so stay smart, strong and show bastards like him how little they truly matter. HIS words, her brother’s words, not my fat, lazy American hag’s words.
Here’s to all the hard working FAs, pretty Chinese daughters and fat American women out there who will find it quite easy to insult your intelligence. Obviously it wouldn’t take much.

That sure is a lot of baggage to extrapolate from just complaining about having to pay for a drink on the plane.
The FA unions may not like this-but did they offer the company another alternative to make up the revenue? I’d rather pay a higher ticket price and have some service than get a cheaper ticket with none.
Some airlines still put an emphasis on service-sadly they are just not in the United States.
As for what kind of guy I am- well I know I am good guy. For the life of me I don’t understand how your husband, daughter, apple pie and Chevorlet all came into one silly rant about paying for drinks…………………
