You know you have hit the big time

When even the Taiwanese go after you. My friends over at NMA have decided to make a video about the Petreaus Scandal:

 

 

I still say-it's all Mrs Petreaus' fault. Either hack the program-or be gone. Funny, no one ever asks that obvious question.

I think the affair would have been low key if the other yenta would have kept her mouth shut (the one in Tampa).  Just reading the stories on her, I have seen her type so many times.  The ones who think that they are part of the "Beautiful People" and they do run in the right circles, but for no apparent reason.  Interesting how Gen Allen is being caught up in this, assisting this lady and her nutty sister, who was known to hang around with some political circles in D.C.
    What will be the end result of this.  Petraus will be divorced, and thrown under the bus, his wife will walk away with a sizeable portion of his retirement.  The Broadwell woman will write another book, and do a tour, and the Kelly woman and her twin sister will hit the realtiy TV circut.  They were previously on some cooking show before, so this will just get them back in the spotlight.  Probably worse than the Kardashians.  But, I imagine that she (Kelly) will be taken off the invite list for functions at McDill AFB.

Looks like I was right about being taken off the MacDill invite list.  Kelley was barred from gaining access to the base.  The more this plays out the more I laugh.  Not so much as being prudish, I personally could care less if a General or CIA Director has an affair, that's their business.  But the reason why I laugh is because it is these same types, passing out Draconian laws to underlings that will not allow them to fraternize in the war zone, or pick up women there, or heaven forbid go into a "house of ill repute" and take care of businee, yet they seem to be doing the same thing themselves.
    I have female friends so I understand that one can be friends with the opposite sex.  But sending over 10,000 emails, is a bit excessive.  And I imagine that there has been some officer under Gen Allen who has been brought up on some type of adultery charges while there in Afghanistan (same could be said for Pretraus while he was there), and they probably threw the book at them.  That's what gets me mad about the whole situation. 
    To me, this Kelley chick and the other Broadwell were no better than some of the "Honch" girls that some seem to look down upon here in Japan.  As a matter of fact, I knew a few of them who had more degrees than Kelley does, yet they do the same thing and are treated in the public differently.
    I say let the show continue.  This is real Reality TV.
