Back in August of last year-I reminded Phib and others what a real douchebag Andrew Breitbart is and was. His “Big” blogs are nothing but written excrement-and now my Canadian Counterpart seems to have also discovered that fact:
The above is a pretty funny video and I recommend it to you all. But I didn’t just post it because it’s hilarious. There is a larger point here. Specifically, if you read an Andrew Brietbart blog expecting anything even remotely approaching the truth in history or politics, you may as well be straddling the hood a fucking Datsun on Sepulveda Boulevard yourself. All of the “Big” blogs are like dating sites for people who shouldn’t be allowed out of their homes without electronic monitoring. If, however, you enjoy having your stupidity force-fed to you, I can’t recommend the House of Brietbart more highly. You’ll feel at home there.
While there are many posts and articles at Breitbart’s blogs that are worthy of disdain-I have to agree with the Canadian-Kevin Mooney’s defense of Oliver North is right down there with really stupid articles.
Phib’s gone and banned me again. Bad penny and all that. All of his sycophants agree with him. Perhaps I should regard this as a learning moment….but no. I won’t.
The truth, oddly enough, is out there. Breitbart does good things with truth. He, for instance, offers vast sums for ANYBODY who catches him in a lie. So far, his record for truthiness is unblemished. No one at all has actually caught him lying about anything.

I keep hearing people say Fox News lies. But no one I’ve asked can give me an example.
Fox News does omit things while they highlight the right’s views.
But ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, PBR, CNN, HLN, and MSNBC does the same… they omit things that would put a bad light on the left.

Gary made a most valid point and one that yet again you refuse to recognize. The guys like Breitbart offer CASH FUCKING MONEY FOR YOU TO PROVE THEY LIE AND YET NOBODY HAS YET COLLECTED A PENNY. Your Canadian compadre is as empty handed as you when it comes to proving that your nemesis is a lying bastard. Perhaps you should own up and confess that you are so bloody liberal you can no longer tell the truth from fiction. It would be a refreshing change.

Was in DC again last week. Every time it strikes me since I drove over that bridge that Robert E. Lee’s house lay across the river from the capital. Mount Vernon is down the river but Lee’s house is just right there. I think he was a man who never went home again.
Gary, there are plenty of documented cases of Fox News lying. A good deal of their coverage during the debt ceiling debate was based on lies- and at the least ignoring pertinent facts. And let’s not forget wherenO’Reilly accused a guynof condoning statutory rape. The statement was proven false but O’Reilly failed to retract it. And they routinely report RNC talking points as fact.

umm, Fox does the news in the morning yeah. They do shows in the PM. I don’t regard that shower as Fox news. Aide memoire, Fox news has gorgeous blonde babes up front and forward. That PM crap features trolls. Girls=news. ugly trolls=counterpunch to CNN, MSNBC, other crap like that.
