Hiatus

I’m going to take a break for a while and clear my head. I’ll be not blogging for about a week or so.

I am mentally tired and need a break.

And to put it frankly I am too depressed right now to think straight.

  1. Understand the depression. A thinking person cannot help being depressed by the determined efforts of the Tea Baggers to destroy the economy and the compromise basis of any democracy.

    When you return please let me know.

    I understand frustration and the ripples caused by events. Democrats had absolute majority and full control of both the house and senate and owned the President and those morons were unable to present a budget in over 800 days. Really sad, pathetic and predictable. Anybody with more than 3 brain cells would not wonder how the Tea Party blasted that Democratic Juggernaut off the rails of enlightened and meaningful full blown withdrawal from Afghanistan, Iraq, Gitmo, ending renditions rolling back all the Patriot Act provisions with enlightened fuzzy idealism.

    Those of us without leaders to call our own laugh out loud at the leaders who you claim and who in turn embrace you; Nancy Pelosi is your leader in the House. Reid is your leader in the Senate and Obama is your president. Anyway it looks like the Cynic has an outstanding Rep in his district. I saw him on MSNBC put two rounds in the head from a zillion miles away and then eat the lunch of the MSNBC airhead presenter who demanded on the basis of further argumentation if he had a degree in economics. Priceless.

    If you’re at home consider water skiing down the river to Guntersville or maybe shoot the Class 3 rapids available just north of you in the TVA power station rivers that are on in the day and off at night. Best shot with a 12 pack.
