Hypothetical Question: The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community is surely in favor of allowing bisexuals the same rights that gays now have in some states. Therefore, the question of polygamy comes up, which makes opposition to polygamy may become indefensible now. How can anyone who supports gay marriage be opposed to polygamous marriages?
Here’s the scenario: A man (or woman) will want to marry the person of the same sex, and marry a person of the opposite sex. Since in 44 states, gay marriage is not allowed, a person can get married in New York (or the other states that allow) could marry a same sex person, and then go to a state where that marriage is not recognized and marry a person of the opposite sex. How is that good for the country?
He’s not breaking the law, in the states that don’t recoginze same sex marriages. I’d like to see Gloria Alread, and the rest of the legal hounds handle that divorce case when it comes up.
