Imagine my shock and amazement to wake up this morning to see his comb over on the TV talking about……well I don’t know what he was talking about.
And then the President actually stops to dignify-what is a baseless charge.
Donald Trump and the rest of the herd need a severe beating. I realize I am not supposed to actively agitate for his demise-but that is what he deserves. The only reason this even has any traction at all is because Americans are so stupid.

I was diappointed that the President released his birth certificate. I was hoping he would let the “birthers” continue along with their baseless claims…oh, well, there will be more claims I am sure.
Well, now if we can get Obama to give us real answers to what he is going to do about the economy and gas prices.
Funny thing, I was watching a Chris Rock comedy show from 2008, and how he thought Bush was a failure as a President due to the high cost of gas in 2008. So I guess according to his logic (even though it is comedic logic), Obama is just as worse.
Obama released his records to try to take some of the steam from the public opinion from Trump. So he wins for proving him wrong, but just like in any court case, there is a shadow still cast. Why did it take so long? I’ve seen people convicted on less evidence than this.
One thing still puzzles me though. My birthcertifcate from a deep southern state looks similar to his, but I did notice that they didn’t list his race. They listed both his parent’s race but not his. I would have thought that this would be a bit important in a state like Hawaii where you have more than just the big “two.” By the way, for the record I am not African-American, I am “Colored” as it says on my birth certificate.

I may be silly but not stupid. I have seen your sometimes rant on the direction the Navy is going will all of the Diversity (i.e. Affirmative Action), and how putting women in positions where they were not before is leading to an erosion of some of the Navy ethos (I am paraphrasing, but see your postings about the first female CAG).
So now, we have the POTUS who may have benefited from some AA, and you seem to be all for it. If he is as smart as some say he is and he would have made it to Columbia and Harvard on his own merit, then let him show it to the rest of us “mouth breathers” to show us how silly we are.
I guess Americans are just as racist about Obama as you are sexist in having a women as a CAG.

Thr issue is not about what he did in college- it’s about what he did as President. And the things you are taking him to task for are mostly put of his control- he can’t change gas prices unless you really want price controls. What he CAN do is not start stupid wars that cause instability and cause those prices to go up. If people are so damned concerned about spending should be screaming to leave Iraq and Afghanistan.

Eisenhower could not exist in today’s GOP. He believed that national health care was a right. So too did Nixon. He believed in investing in infratstructure-thus the Interstate Highway system.

Ike’s Interstae Highway Bill was only about 12 pages long. That one document gave us the highways that we had today.
Ike probably based its passage (as well as those who were in Congress at the time) based on the fact that the Germans had a good system and the parts that weren’t bombed too bad was one of the reasons why they could move troops through the country quickly.
Compare that to today’s health care bill. That 1200 page bill that Nancy Pelosi said that “we must pass it first before we see what’s in it.”
Yes Ike couldn’t be in today’s GOP, just like the rest of the GOP and DEM members then wouldn’t fit in with either party today. If any thing, staunch segregationist Senators like Gore, Fulbright, Byrd and the others would still be able to fit into the Dem party more so than the GOP. Since most of the Dem policies have had very negative effects in Black communities.

do you laugh as I do that when Trump savaged that loser day after day in the main stream media for a month about why he could not produce something as prosaic as his actual birth certificate the idiot finally did what he could have done two years ago and saved himself millions of $ in legal fees and looking utterly stupid for fighting against producing the document all the way up to the Supreme Court and with little effort brought forth the stupid document in question. Every single one of us had to bring that stupid document or certified copy into our state DMV office to get our first drivers license.
Mine didn’t work. the good folks there at shopping mall usa dmv were utterly dismissive of my actual birth certificate and point blank refused to accept it for the purposes of documenting my age.
