Thank you so much for sharing your photographs. To see such treasures in person surely must take one’s breath away, no matter how many visits.
Don’t know if you are aware that it’s Carmelite nuns who do all the repairs on the tapestries. Each nun is chosen for her needlework skills and all of them work in silence……mind you, to work on such pieces of art would stun most of us into silent reverie.

Loon-the tapestry in the picture is pretty amazing. The photo does not do it justice. Its bright and the expression on Jesus face is pretty amazing. Its got a jaunty look to it-like saying, “I’m back!”. They had a whole hallway of them.
