We got back yesterday night with a few extra hours in DFW that I could have done without.
Now I am trying to squeeze in a post between the ever present demands of the S.O. that I do house things-this is why I wanted to be skiing yesterday and coming home today. I will need to get moving though because at 3:45 today my butt is getting glued to the couch so I can watch the Steeler game.
I made that a statement of fact to the S.O.
“But what about shopping?’
“Here’s $60. You know where the car keys are. Don’t forget to get some ground beef”.
Sometimes you just have to put your foot down. If it buys me 3+ hours of peaceful bliss watching the Steelers-it’s probably worth it.
