Far East Cynic

On the plus side…..

Of having all my stuff here now.

My CD’s are back! Which means I can load up the CD player and drive down the road listening to all my old favorites.

Gotta do some major muscle movement for the S.O. today. We’ve both been at each other’s nerves lately-we both are slowly realizing how much we miss Japan and its lifestyle. Plus the only people we really know is each other-which over the long haul is a problem. Probably a big problem-I needed my time away and so did she.

However for today, I want to get these things done for her-because its important to her.

So stick around and listen to some vintage Jethro Tull. I’ll be back.

  1. Dude, all my CD’s are on my ipod now. Took a while, but well worth it…

AND you have my favorite giant tittie pic not to mention Jethro Tull…

  2. Damn, Bullnav, with all that Metalica and Sepultura I’m surprised your iPod isn’t too “heavy” to carry.

As far as Tull, Skippy, one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen was when thay played On Air East back around ’93 or ’94. They even had a table with three of four chairs set up on the side of the stage and would bring folks up to sit for a song or two, complete with Ian Anderson serving wine during Martin Barre’s solos.

  3. Yes, Richmond in ’91 was good (the theater was pretty cool, too), but the On Air show was better, more intimite. Basically On Air was a bar about the size of the center section of the old Boathouse in NORVA (which, sadly, is no longer there), so that gives you an idea of the feel.

Speaking of the Boathouse, though, I can still say that I have yet to see another band as loud as Tank Hog. I’m sure I lost a dB or two at that show.
