Book buying mission accomplished along with the trek down the hill to Soho and lunch at McSorleys. Nothing special about the place except I have this unrequited desire to nail the barmaid, Julie. She’s got quite the PLA*.
Found my book shop and HK$500 poorer -walk out with:
The World of Suzie Wong– I have never read Richard Mason’s book. I thought, being as much of a Hong Kong fanatic that I am-maybe I should.
P.J. O’Rouke on The Wealth of Nations-Seemed interesting and I don’t have the patience to read all 900 pages of Adam Smiths book. Fortunately Pj has done the reading so I won’t have to.
The God Delusion-by Richard Dawkins. This book was recommended by a reader to me.
And then there is the Esquire magazine I bought.
Up to Diamond Hill Station and the Nan Lian garden today. Pix to follow.
