Sigh. . .yeah. . .I know what you mean. The Navy has informed me it will not be requiring my services a tailhook pilot. But I may accept another platform as a consolation prize. . .breathe in. . .breathe out. . .move on. . .
I know it is hard to understand, and really hard to accept. ( I did not choose E-2’s) but Naval Aviation is such a cool place that you will like what you get. Sounds trite now and I understand your dissapointment. But at least that was how it worked out for me.
