Thought it was better to wait a bit before offering my condolences on your having to put the razors away, as I was rooting for you the whole game…’til the last inning, of course. It doesn’t matter how long the dry spell for the Cubs may last, because they have heart and they try. That’s a heck of lot more than can be said for the three sad representatives of the American League East, the NBA, and the NHL in this city. Doesn’t much matter one way or the other as I’ve always been a fan of the Cowboys/Chargers, the Montreal Canadiens, and the L.A. Dodgers.
